Karma

May the odds be forever in your corner.
Check it out- I’m a regular at Starbucks, it’s a bit unmanageable. Typically, when I wait for my iced coffee, the baristas, cashiers, and myself dive deep into boyfriends, future goals, and weekend plans. The image above is a little love tap from the cashier this morning. When I read the note, I thought to myself, there is hope for humanity.
Let’s get dirty into karma. I’m pretty familiar with the saying, “Treat others the way you want to be treated.” What if we flip it? “Treat myself the way my Inner Child deserves, and in turn, I will treat others with respect, integrity, and compassion.” If my Inner Child is well respected, I will believe in my value. I may not be misconstrued with feeling less than, or unworthy of love and happiness. I can be confident in myself and perhaps life will be a tad less intimidating.
Karma is my spirituality’s relationship to reality.
